Making your own bread is one of the most rewarding things you can do - but it doesn’t have to be complicated! If you’ve tried Googling ‘how to make sourdough’ and been overwhelmed by all the conflicting methods, this class is for you. We’ll cut through the noise, break things down simply, and give you the skills and confidence to start baking delicious sourdough bread at home. ________________________________________ What you’ll learn: • The Basics of Sourdough: We’ll explain the essential terms like ‘starter,’ ‘hydration,’ ‘fermentation,’ and ‘proving’ so you can feel confident in your sourdough journey. • Working with Wholegrain Flours - understand how different flours affect your bread and what makes freshly milled, small-batch flour so special. • Make a 100% Wholegrain Loaf from scratch • Shape a 50/50 Loaf, adding some freshly milled grains and seeds if you’d like • Hands-on Breadmaking: Together, we’ll make bread using high-hydration doughs and a blend of wholegrain and strong white flours.
